What is Biometrics?

Biometrics refers to the measurement and statistical analysis of people's unique physical and behavioral characteristics. Biometrics is used for identification and access control, and it can also be used to identify individuals in groups that are under surveillance.

These involve the measurement of physical attributes, including:

  • Voice Recognition: Uses voice patterns and characteristics to identify individuals, relying on features like pitch, tone, and speech patterns.
  • Signature Recognition: Analyzes the unique patterns and rhythms involved in how a person writes their signature.

Applications of Biometrics

Biometric systems are used in various sectors, including:
